Boys and girls are back together in the same classes after some years of segregation. Parents had complained their children were subjected to overstrain at examination time. Physical culture in the early grades is being increased from one to two hours per week.

Schlageter had resided in Suffern for three years. Born in England, she came to this country about 70 years ago. She was the widow of Charles Schlageter. Surviving is a sister, Mrs. Frances Bleisnick, of Ridgewood.
