12 September 14, 1989 News Beacon Arthur Cooper FAIR LAWW Arthur D. Cooper, 61, formerly of the Bronx, died Sept. 8. Before retiring, he was material control officer for Flying Tigers Air Freight at JFK Airport, Queens. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War and a parishioner of St.

Anne's R.C. Church, Fair Lawn. Surviving are three sisters, Viola Perico and Lillian Cooper, both of Fair Lawn, and Bessie Kelly of New York City; and two brothers, William of Clifton and Robert of Fair Lawn. Two brothers, Donald and Thomas, are deceased. Mass was offered Sept.

13 at St. Anne's Church, with burial in Woodlawn Cemetery in the Bronx. Vander Plaat Colonial Home, Fair Lawn, handled arrangements. Charlotte Mecionis FAIR LAWN Charlotte Zelanis Mecionis, 88, died Sept. 9.

She was a parishioner of St. Casimir's R.C. Church, Paterson, where she was past president of its Blessed Virgin Mary Sodality. She was past president of School 10 PTA, the Veterans GOP Auxiliary, and AARP Chapter 15, all in Paterson, and was president of the Golden Circle, Fair Lawn. Surviving are her husband, Joseph; three sons, Richard of Fair Lawn, Russell of New Egypt, and Ronald of Haledon; a daughter, Patricia Verrengia of Elwood; a brother, John Zillman of Vineland; 15 grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

Mass was offered Sept. 13 in St. Casimir's Church, with burial in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa. Vander Plaat Colonial Home, Fair Lawn, handled arrangements. FAIR LAWN Kevin Edmund Collis, 35, of Christiansburg, formerly of Fair Lawn, died Sept.

9. He was a police officer, and served in the Army. Surviving are his wife, Susan; a son, Sean, and two daughters, Amy and Kelly, all of Christiansburg, and his parents, Steve and Nora Collis of Fair Lawn. A brother, Steven, died in 1987. Services and burial were in Virginia, with arrangements by Hoy-McCoy Funeral Home, Blacksburg, Va.

Robert Sisti Jr. FAIR LAWN Robert Sisti 34, of Wayne, formerly of Fair Lawn, died Sept. 5. He was a national collection manager for Toys-R-Us, Rochelle Park, where he worked for the past 12 years. He was a parishioner of Immaculate Heart of Mary R.C.

Church, Wayne; a 1976 graduate of Loyola College, Baltimore, and a 1979 graduate of Fairleigh Dickinson University. Surviving are his parents, Mary and Robert Sisti and two sisters, Kathleen Fisher of Union, and Noelle Sisti of Wayne. Mass was offered Sept. 9 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, with entombment at Calvary Mausoleum, Paterson. Daniel Bryan FAIR LAWN Daniel Joseph Bryan, 71, died Sept.

He was a salesman and for Garfield Refining delphia, and previously for General Electric Co. Park, for 35 years. He was a parishioner of Catharine's R.C. Church, Rock. An Army veteran of War II, he worked on the tan Project.

10. He was general manager for Consolidated Edison, New York, where he worked for 39 years. He was a parishioner of St. Catharine's R.C. Church, Glen Rock, and a trustee of the YMCA and a member of the Swim Club, both in Ridgewood.

He was an Army Signal Corps veteran of the Korean War. He was a graduate of Pace Institute, New York City. Surviving are his wife, Claire McCarthy Prettitore; four sons, James, Paul, Glen, and Russell, and a daughter, Janis, all at home; his father, James; two sisters, Anna Dunn of Fair Lawn and Veronica Borelli of Jericho, N.Y.. and a brother, Michael Delligatti of Queens. His mother, Jennie Aiello Prettitore, and his stepmother, Rose Delligatti Prettiroe, are deceased.

She was a member of the Irving Park Christian Reformed Church, Midland Park. Surviving are her husband, Rudolph; a son, William R. of Midland Park; three grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. Services were Sept. 13 at J.

Critchley, a former member of the Allendale Board of Education and the Library Board, died Sept. 12. He was 79 and a borough resident. Before retiring in 1974, he was a vice president of American Savings Bank, New York City, and a director for First Fidelity Savings Loan, Allendale. He was a graduate of the American Institute of Banking, New York City, and the Stonier Graduate School of Banking at Rutgers University.

A licensed real estate broker and salesman, Mr. Critchley was a member of the New Jersey and National associations of Realtors and the National Association of Independent Fee Appraisers. He was a fireman in Allendale for more than 50 years, was a member of the borough's Exempt ROGER HELIAS AGENCY Insurance Real Estate 275 Market St. Saddle Brook, N.J. Office 843-5600 Insurance of Every Description Firemen's Association, was an Army veteran of World War II, and served as a past commander of American Legion Post 204.

Surviving are three daughters, Nina Andersen of Allendale, Elinor Watson of Holland, and Sandra Allen in California; nine grandchildren, and two greatgrandchildren. His wife Margaret, died in 1984. Services will be 10 a.m. Sept. 15 at Church of the Epiphany, Allendale, with burial in Union Cemetery, Ramsey.

Visiting hours are 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Van Emburgh-Sneider Funeral Home, Ramsey, with a fire department service at 8 p.m. Donations to the memorial fund of the Church of the Epiphany, the Allendale Fire Department, or the Allendale Ambulance Corps, would be appreciated.
