Cosmopolitan 100 Service Club meeting, 7 a.m., Midland University Cafeteria, Ninth and Pebble streets, Fremont.

HomeStore open, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., 701 E. Dodge St., Fremont. The HomeStore sells donated items at discounted prices. Proceeds support the mission of Fremont Area Habitat for Humanity.

Al-Anon meeting, 9:30 a.m., Chapter 5 Club front room, 136 N. Main St., Fremont.

Fremont Community Breastfeeding Support Group, 10-11 a.m., Three Rivers Health Department conference room, 2400 N. Lincoln Ave., Fremont. This support group is for mothers and their babies. Siblings are welcome.

Keene Memorial Library Storytime, 10-10:30 a.m., Keene Memorial Library, 1030 N. Broad St., Fremont. Storytime is open to kids of all ages and their caregivers. Stories, songs and crafts are included.

Fremont Rotary Club meeting, noon, Fremont Golf Club, North Somers Avenue.

Fremont Eagles Club open, 3 p.m. to midnight, 649 N. Main St., Fremont. The club may stay open later or close early depending on business. The kitchen will be open from 5:30-7 p.m. The menu will include catfish, shrimp, wings, chicken tenders, fish sandwiches, hamburgers, cheeseburgers, appetizers, baked potatoes, french fries, onion rings and salad. Everyone is welcome.

Meet and Greet with Adam Carriker, 5-6 p.m., Walk-On Cards and Collectibles, 1023 E. 23rd St., Fremont. Carriker is a former eight-year NFL veteran, first round draft pick, All-American and Nebraska Football Hall of Famer. He now hosts “The Carriker Chronicles.” Each customer is invited to bring one item to have Carriker autograph at no charge.

“Into the Woods Jr.,” 7 p.m., North Bend Central High School stage, North Bend. Tickets will be available at the door. Tickets are $5 for adults, $4 for K-12 students, and free for preschool students.

Live music by Country Gold, 7-10 p.m., Fremont Eagles Club main floor. The cover charge is $3. Everyone is welcome.

Friends of the Keene Memorial Library Book Nook Grand Opening, 10 a.m. to noon, Keene Memorial Library, 1030 N. Broad St., Fremont. Located just south of the library’s entrance, the Book Nook is a place where patrons and community members can find books, puzzles and games for a monetary donation to the Friends group. The Book Nook will be open year-round.

Alcoholics Anonymous women’s heart-to-heart group, noon, Chapter 5 Club, Fremont.

Fremont Eagles Club open, noon to midnight, 649 N. Main St., Fremont. The club may stay open later or close early depending on business. The kitchen will be open from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Chicken fried steak, chicken tenders, shrimp and more will be available. Mojo Filter will be playing from 7-11 p.m. in the club’s ballroom. The cover charge is $8. Everyone is welcome.

Community Shred Day, 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m., Pinnacle Bank, 23rd Street and Lincoln Avenue, Fremont. The public is invited to bring their information-sensitive documents to Pinnacle Bank to be securely shredded. There is a limit of 50 pounds per person. No purchase is necessary. Need not be a Pinnacle Bank customer to participate.

Waterloo Fire & Rescue Pancake Feed, 7 a.m. to 1 p.m., Waterloo Volunteer Fire Department, 405 Seventh St., Waterloo. Pancakes will be served along with sausage, coffee and juice. There will be a silent auction and raffle. Guests can check out fire apparatus, law enforcement agency apparatus, LifeNet helicopter and more. There also will be activities for the kids. Everyone is welcome.

Chalk the Park, 1-3 p.m., John C. Fremont Park, Eighth and Broad streets, Fremont. This event is being sponsored by the Fremont Parks & Recreation Department. Chalk will be provided. There also will be a bounce house and the splash pad will be on (weather permitting). The event is free for all ages.

Camp Fontanelle Open House, 2-6 p.m., Camp Fontanelle, 9677 County Road 3, Fontanelle. Activities will include camp tours, scavenger hunt, hikes, outdoor games, crafts and the barrel train. The camp store will be open. The event is an opportunity for new campers to see the site and meet some of the staff. There will be a spaghetti dinner fundraiser from 4-5:30 p.m.
