Meet and Greet with Adam Carriker, 5-6 p.m., Walk-On Cards and Collectibles, 1023 E. 23rd St., Fremont. Carriker is a former eight-year NFL veteran, first round draft pick, All-American and Nebraska Football Hall of Famer. He now hosts “The Carriker Chronicles.” Each customer is invited to bring one item to have Carriker autograph at no charge.

From noon to 2 p.m., guests are invited to explore Stomp Chomp Roar’s fossil cart and learn all about dinosaurs with Dinosaur Ranger Anthony and his friend Paleo. Guests are then invited to attend an entertaining dinosaur show and prehistoric pep rally from 2-3 p.m. on the festival garden patio (weather permitting. Waterloo Fire & Rescue Pancake Feed, 7 a.m. to 1 p.m., Waterloo Volunteer Fire Department, 405 Seventh St., Waterloo. Pancakes will be served along with sausage, coffee and juice. There will be a silent auction and raffle. Guests can check out fire apparatus, law enforcement agency apparatus, LifeNet helicopter and more. There also will be activities for the kids. Everyone is welcome.

SkateFest: Seymour Smith, 11:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., Seymour Skate Park, 6802 Harrison St., Omaha. The skating event will include live music, local art, food trucks and vendor trucks. There will be a transition-focused contest and the best trick on the street section of the park. Admission is free.

Chalk the Park, 1-3 p.m., John C. Fremont Park, Eighth and Broad streets, Fremont. This event is being sponsored by the Fremont Parks & Recreation Department. Chalk will be provided. There also will be a bounce house and the splash pad will be on (weather permitting). The event is free for all ages.

4th Annual LNE Auto Show, 1-4 p.m., Southeast Community College, 8800 O St., Lincoln. This event is open to the public, but if you want to park in the event and show off your car, there is a $10 registration fee. All proceeds this year will be split between the LNE Auto Club for scholarships and the LNE family emergency relief fund.

Camp Fontanelle Open House, 2-6 p.m., Camp Fontanelle, 9677 County Road 3, Fontanelle. Activities will include camp tours, scavenger hunt, hikes, outdoor games, crafts and the barrel train. The camp store will be open. The event is an opportunity for new campers to see the site and meet some of the staff. There will be a spaghetti dinner fundraiser from 4-5:30 p.m.

Spaghetti Dinner, 4-5:30 p.m., Camp Fontanelle, 9677 County Road 3, Fontanelle. The dinner will be part of the camp’s open house. The menu will include spaghetti, meatballs, salad, bread, dessert and drink. Freewill donations will be collected. Carryout meals will be available. Everyone is welcome.
