Fix Dies; 7th District Republican Leader Mrs. Florence Grothe Euller Fix, 63, the Republican state committeewoman from the Seventh Assembly District, and active in area politics for two decades, today (May 26, 1960) in Mercy Hospital. She had been a state committeewoman for 16 years and recently had endorsed for another two-year term. She was on the Erie County Republican Committees and was its from 1933 to 1944.

Mrs. Fix was secretary to the Erie County Planning Board for the past eight years and prior to that served in Surrogate's Court. She was a member of Twentieth Century Club, the West Seneca Republican Club, the Past Presidents' Republican Women's Club and the Martha Washington Republican Club. Lived in West Seneca She also was a member of Olive Chapter 325, OES; the Erie County Competitive Civil Service Employes Association and the auxiliary of Troop I Post 655. American Legion.

She was state committeewoman from the Eighth Assembly District from 1944 to 1947 when she was elected in the Seventh Assembly District. Mrs. Fix lived at 118 Wildwood West Seneca, with her husband, William C. Fix, a court officer serving with County Judge William Regan. Daughter Also Survives Mrs.

Fix had been in Mercy Hospital since February. Mr. Fix, chairman of the West Seneca Board of Zoning Appeals, had presided at a hearing Wednesday evening. He had told his associates Mrs. Fix had planned to leave the hospital today.

Besides her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Ardeth Witzleben of West Seneca; two grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Frank Pagel, Mrs. Eva McGilton and Mrs. Albert Bray, and two brothers, William and George Euller.

Saro Melikian, 64, born Soghom*on Tehlirian in Turkish Armenia, vowed revenge against Talaat Pasha for the slaughter and deportation of his people.

He caught up with the ex prime minister. on a Berlin street in 1921 and killed him with one revolver shot. The avenger turned himself in to the police and, after a trial that attracted international attention, was acquitted. He changed his name and became a teacher in Europe and Morocco, coming to this country in 1956. Moreton Requests Charges Be Dismissed Albert Moreton, 34, of an Irving Pl. address, who has been the star witness for the Government in a Federal Court narcotics case, Wednesday sought dismissal of a County Court inindictment charging him with the illegal possession of narcotics.
