Shopping

Down-to-earth place with brand-name shops, fast-food restaurants & consumer services.

The place is amazingAll the best stores you can think of and many great places for dining as well as shopping. The place also keeps on hosting various events, great kid friendly and with accessible parking.

Good shopping place but the toilet is Horrible.. not maintained or cleaned. When you enter the toilet you get a gust of urine smell. Toilet papers or sanitisers are not provided in the lavatory.

What a shame, I have lived in Sutton most of my life and have seen the slow demise of the shopping centre. So many empty units, its like a ghost town. The positives are, the parking in the centre is good and very reasonably priced. The mobility facilities are good with a designated blue badge area. Free wheelchairs are also offered for use in the centre too. Still worth a visit but Sutton is greatly overshadowed by Solihull centre and Tamworth retail park.

It's my local shopping area, still has some good shops, however really needs some cash injected , hopefully now Gracechurch centre has been sold it will be updated and bring in more shops, try Bert and Gerts great shop filled with independent traders, Sunday farmers market last Sunday on the month and craft/ food market 1st & 3rd Saturday each month.

Where has all the shops gone? Most are closed down its a real shame as this place used to be packed to the door the m and s used to bring a smile to all the elderly residents who love that shop. Toilet very clean and floors spotless plus a sand pit for the kids for the 6 week holiday such a shame could be fantastic again with new investors and bring in more people old and new

Lovely shopping centre, just wish there was more shops and that shops unfortunately didn't have to shut down

The once beating heart of Sutton Coldfield.Sadly neglected by its council.Still has a few decent shops… still has a nice community vibe.Overdue a revamp.

Very clean shopping centre. Teds potatoes are a must try costa is a good shout and so is coffee 1 the cafe nero is also very good. Vape shop man is abit of a rip off. There are toilet facilities and parking availabilieties prices are not too bad for parking

A pretty decent shopping center is just very spread out and open so it's wet and windy walking between shops especially in the winter. But it's neat and tidy and has a wide variety of shops, restaurants and coffee shops.

Really needs some investment. Not much fun to be had here. Fraser's is ok. Decent Waterstones and McDonalds. The H&M is a good size. It has so much potential - used to be great for shopping years ago. Would rather head into Brum or Lichfield.

Clean and tidy, feels safe and the floor and steps were not wet like they were the other day.

Nice little shopping area could do with more shops though but nice little shopping centre.

Ghost town feeling. Not much variety of shops. Parking is poor with lots of concrete pillars encroaching on spaces and hindering visibility.

I found funny of this shopping centre, as they have plenty bins organised very well with recycling wastes etc. However, they don’t let customers to litter the rubbish. There was a cleaner lady stopped me today at 11:30 when I was going to recycle three bottles to the bin, as she said the bin can’t be fully filled until 3pm. So it brings me two questions, first, what is the bin used for? Second, aren’t I not allowed to bin the rubbish cuz am an Oriental?

Great shopping center. This shopping center is usually very clean and they are very good with local covid restrictions with requiring to wear a mask and having a two meter distanced queueing system which works very well. Its also has a one way walking system which not many people follow but it is not really enforced. There is a ok selection of shops but a shame to see M and S as that was one of the bigger shops. There is plenty of electronic shops such as stormfront(Apple), EE, Vodaphone, O2, GAME and CEX. There are plenty of other shops. I would highly recommend this shopping center to most people. Overall great experience.

After being told it was run down. I was surprised to find it really good. No charity shops or empties making up 50% like near by Tamworth.

Sutton's not what it used to be, however the Gracechurch shopping centre is just as good as it's always been. There's the House of Fraser where we bought some men's suits at really good prices ( I was very surprised at the bargain we got!) They have a jacket potato shop that sells the best jacket potatoes in the world they have phatface.... I mean there's just so much here!!! Was pleasantly surprised.

Sutton Coldfield town centre has suffered the curse of the High Street in recent years with many shops closing down. This is continuing in Sutton with more on the way out. Which is a shame, because it's really nice. There are still some good shops to visit; Fat Face, H&M, New Look, Caffè Nero, House of Fraser, Nails and Beauty, Smart Ideas, Pandora, Waterstones. It feels a safe place to be, is pleasant for a wander and generally, people are very friendly. Granted, the shopping experience elsewhere is better, more variety of shops further afield and it's looking a little dated these days but I do feel that Sutton still has something to offer the shoppers amongst us.

The shopping mall is ok. The closure of the big stores does have an impact on the general atmosphere. Was able to find what I needed as there are a variety of stores. Could do with more quality restaurants/places to eat.

Very nice shopping centre donny high street

Like many shopping centres, many, if not most, of the shops have closed down. The two places doing great business were Ann Summers and Costa.

Roger M — Google review

The place is like a ghost town, however New shop selling all sorts of Halloween, Xmas decorations etc and also Bert and Gerts are a must visit, and obviously house of Fraser. Other than that it really is long over due for a cash injection,to bring it back to what it once was.
