Do Miami-Dade commissioners get paid? ›

The City does not fund any retirement program for elected officials. The salaries of elected officials are set by charter and are $12,000 annually for the Commissioners and $15,000 for the Mayor. Commissioners and the Mayor also receive an expense stipend of $6,000 annually in a non-accountable plan.
